Our home suffered a lot of damage from the hail storm in the fall 2014 – roof and gutters wrecked, doors, windows, exterior siding, wood decking all suffered damage. All toll we had a $60k – $70k claim. Mark worked well with the out of state insurance carrier and was even able to convince the rep to upgrade the claim to cover 2 large skylights and increase the settlement for repairs to our deck and railings. Mark negotiated with the insurance company, did the paper work for the HOA and mortgage lender, secured the county permits, and was able to coordinate his vendors and work schedules to start the repair project in a timely manner, while many of our neighbors were told by their contractors they would have to wait months for work to begin. Mark was reliable and responsive and completed the project satisfactorily in a timely manner. We were lucky to have Mark recommended to us by a trusted contractor friend. Mark did a great job on our home and would use him again.

I was totally pleased with the work done by Refined Contracting and by their professional approach. In addition to installing a new roof, they found and repaired some structural damage in the roof supports. This corrective action saved me a lot of time and expense and possible water damage in the future. The work was completed promptly and with excellent workmanship. I had my roof replaced by Refined Contracting due to hail damage. Mark developed an excellent working relationship with my insurance company and made the claims process easy and effortless for me. He even met with the insurance adjuster providing supplemental documentation in the form of pictures, measurements and paperwork to ensure I wouldn’t get stuck with a settlement that would not cover the cost. Mark was great about keeping me informed all through the claims process and checked in with me each day when the work was being performed to see if I had any problems or concerns. He was knowledgeable with the local installation codes and procedures, including my homeowner association regulations. Mark Johnson and Refined Contracting did an excellent job analyzing and then promptly repairing a roof leak problem near a fireplace chimney on our home. After removing an interfering satellite dish, a new rooftop chimney "saddle" was added to our roof. The work was done is one day and completed within one week of first contacting Mark Johnson with Refined Contracting. Mark Johnson owner of Refined Contracting LLC did a wonderful job after the tornado that hit us. He approached the job quite professionally, thoroughly and responsibly. He informed us about all the works that were in the process of restoration.

We had a leaky roof when the ice on the roof would melt in the winter and spring, which damaged the ceiling in our dining and bed rooms for the past several years. Mark and crew assessed the problem, which was not apparent until the shingles were removed from a portion of the roof; rotted wood was replaced, shingles were woven to fill in the area where the ice was accumulating, and the shingles were replaced. The estimate was accurate, the work was complete in a few hours, and all of the area was cleaned up well before they left. Mark explained the project thoroughly to us before starting and took pictures to show us what was found and the final result when done. We are extremely satisfied with the work and the experience of working with Refined Contracting and highly recommend them for roofing projects.

Refined Contracting LLC did an excellent job on re-roofing my residence. The project was large and complex consisting of 8 hips and 4 valleys, totaling about 3400 SF. The six man crew arrived about 6:30 AM and completed all the work and clean-up by 6:00 PM. The work was done very efficiently and to the highest quality standards possible. I was invited to the roof after tear-off to inspect the roof deck, after installation of the roof deck protection to observe the leak barrier systems and after the installation of the shingles, hip cap and ridge cap shingles to observe the completed installation.. Mark and his crew were real professional about every detail of the project. I couldn't be happier with the workmanship, professionalism of the entire crew and the exceptional clean-up of the entire work site. Mark was also very helpful in getting the Insurance Company off of partial replacement to total replacement. Great job!
